stress~~

it's been awhile since i last blogged here.. well u can't blame much... the internet service provided by Uniten is always highly rated... u save time by walking to the computer lab in order to get a chance to access the internet.. interesting... and how many times do i have to brag about my hostel Amanah which is sitted full of students in the 6 blocks of 4-storey tall apartments.. and within these premises a student's chance to go online is of course.. none other than the number 0... elek~! kosong... zero.. KONG! Ironically, the other parts of the Uniten campus HAVE internet access... even the gals hostel mind you... so the word discrimination is well used in this sorta situation....

In Uniten, nothing much has happened here throughout the week... there's one night though that my housemates and a few friends and of course me myself gambled in the name of CNY mood... well... till 6am!! :p it's the matter of chor tai ti.. black jack... chor tai ti... wow... the money just comes and goes in a flash... surprisingly the time really speeds while u have fun... it's definitely unfair if u compare the turmoil u face when u are having classes.... as the time ticks so slow as if the clock is running out of battery.. unfortunately it isn't! so the fun time comes and goes... we are all like walking zombie from Resident Evil to the class the following day...

Back in Klang... the number of ppl coming to Southern Park basketball court is surely dwindling... reason? unknown... but us who are present suspects the annoying smells of haze, and the heat it is able to retain within the foul air... it's clearly not the sorta condition u wanna play in... or the even more cunningly excuse such as not appearing at all without any sorta reason... hrrm... *distant rumbles of aeroplanes taking off*

my streamyx suffered a major setback when i realised that i can't even connect to the internet when i came back on Thursday itself!!! it took me 2 days of thinking and anaylising... plus trials and errors of different hypothesis... i've concluded that the account settings within the modem surely plays a big role... so to put long story short... mao and I exchanged router modem for quite some time ago cos i'd figure my router has some prob... so my router contains my streamyx account.. and of cos mao's account on his router modem... so once we exchanged... we are using each other's account... till now... THE REAsON I CAN'T GO ONLINE IS BECAUSE MAO DIDN'T PAY UP THE STREAMYX'S BILL... THUS SUSPENDED THE LINE TEMPORARILY... when this happens... i am the one who suffers!! for i'm using his account... and he's happily connected through my account... The solution is fairly simple : change the router modem's settings... use back our own account... no more conflicts... and in turn i get to go online.. while mao has to find some other ppl's userid and password~! -.-"

not a great weekend to go through this time again... lacked activities.. i yearn to go out!! yes go out i did... only for mamak sessions and stuff... but not even once a DOTA session.. (yeah i'm addicted to it) so guess i haev to wait for another week again... and apart from missing dota... the weekly Bah kut teh session is somewhat missing too.... hrm... pork intake needs to be increased the next time i return to KLAng.... ahh.. bah kut teh heaven... so close yet so far.. .T_T

well there u go.. a weekly's worth of blog.. hope it's logn enough to make u readers out there have sore eyes... and i'm yet to settle my assignments... which is mostly due on wednesday... English essays... as well as speech outline... drat... i'm doomED!! oh well.. so much's at stake.. i should stop now!!

weekends are over~~

i can't believe it! my freaking weekends ended just like that~! saving the part that we celebrated ah Boon's b'day and went to sri hartamas for a drink.. but the rest of the days are kinda routine... in other words... SIEN~! cannot tahan... i need more spices in my life~!!!

Boon Cheng's b'day falls on the 18th Feb... almost all of the Star Gang.. plus a few from other schools as well turned up in Star Pisces for this event to welcome our beloved lau peh to the 19 year old society... as well as the final year to be a teenager b4 he finally become an adult LEGALLY~ :p

Saturday... our attention is diverted to none other than Guan Seng's house for another round of gambling session... ir's always crowded at this sorta times... money's bet, cards dealt... hands taken... poker faces drawn... in the end... it's all bout the money~!!! lost a few bucks over there... drat... sweet lady luck has turned away from me this time! damn it!

my night time's spent with a few of my pals in souled out, Sri hartamas for a round of liquor... Chivas this time... and i personally don't enjoy as much as the last time i came over... the fact that i just had my dinner and drinking liquor right after that is definitely not a comfortable feeling... u keep having troubles swallowing the drink... as though u might throw up any moment without warning... so i have to resist my self-temptation to go for bottoms-up or neat... in large packs... my apologies to everyone who has to make do with my stomach's abscence... by drinking xtra portion...

right now i'm in computer lab... my beloved lecturer is going around computers checking our assignments... we are doing a brochure and each of us are suppose to explain what our brochures are all about :p i better stop here... less more questions asked... and i'm not in the mood to be patient...

StrIngs of uPsets

life in Uniten is as typical as b4.... got up, take cold bath, take bus, study, come back, SLEEP!!! only this time, my chemistry and english classes are all cancelled for this week... XD thanks to the ever speedy gonzales teaching style by the beloved Dr. Saifuddin (which i will always fall asleep for not being able to keep up with his pace, and for his speed, lacks explanation as well) and Pn Tathiana (Russian lady who's so obeying the rules that she keeps on repeating the consequences if we dont' follow the rules) -.-"

Had stomachache during the middle of my Calculus class on Monday... have to leave early... and i informed the lecturer that i have to 'cabut' to ease the weights... after i left... the lecturer told the class that i had exams or some sort!! -.-" <--- according to my classmate who happens to be my roomate Alwin. Interesting......

Another stomachache happened early in the morning today... fortunately i get to hold on till the class is finished... i rushed to the toilet on ground floor.. CURSES~~ there's cleaning going on... even though i asked the lady to let me enter... she refused! CELAKA BETUL! Kek Sai for freaking half an hour liao still like this... damn freaking san fu ah!! So i ran up to the 1st floor and... there's cleaning going on as well!! but the lady is not around.... CHIONG AH~~~!!!

10 minutes later...... flushh~~~~ phew... si fuk sai..........

still suspecting what's the actual cause of my stomachache especially this morning's.... the possible ones lies on the water i drank this morning... might not have boiled yet... DAMN!

Ter'skipped' computer class from 6-8pm... was napping all the way.... wonder what happened to my phone... it just turned off by itself.. by the time i woke up... i saw that i have to key in the pin code... and thus... the alarm didn't go off as i've set it b4 my ^@^ session.... Dr. Djamel is gonna miss me in class~!

There's a Calculus tutorial later at 11am... which i've decided to skip it... u get nothing from a lecturer who speaks english in an Indian accent...

i've not played basketball for 3 weeks... it's saddening me... but can't help it... my leg's injured... a very bad sprained... and it's not fully recovered yet... damn bloody wasted my whole precious time especially in the afternoon.... which are all reserved to nothing but ^@^.. damn it!

oh well... time to go and have some breakfast...

*note* the reason why i ran all the way to ground floor's toilet is... it's the only toilet with toilet rolls!!! but somehow today i'm lucky that there are toilet rolls too on 1st floor... hrrm... a sign of improvemenT? or just coincidence?

CNY summary...

with all due respect, my daily routine for my chinese new year has its own similiar pattern. everyday we've been doing almost the same thign... and yet nobody would feel bored bout this routine.... with further elaboration and explanation... let me tell u next time what we should do for our CNY in coming years...

First... we go visiting!!! nothing beats the joy when u receive xtra ang pow's from ur own frens... they are as though a part of our relatives... hehehe... while visiting a friend's house is errm... numerical-wise, not enough... everyone should try go house hopping together!! for instance u should spend one day on one taman... eg : southern park on day 1, chi liung day 2 etc etc.... :p

while hopping in fren's house... there's oso another important routine to be done... PRETEND TO BE GOD OF GAMBLERS.... armed with a few pieces of notes from ur wallet, a handphone and of cos a carkey + housekey for backup.... (carkey's for those who drove around... winning alot and cabut lari... or on the other side is u lose until u cabut lari earlier as well)... housekey : u hav the pass to go back home... instead of staying over at the host's house... (refers to mao)

Gamblers have each of their own ups and downs.... menang kalah.... sure got wan... and to those who lose alot.... they hav to stop themselves.... or continue to pia... hoping to win back their own debts... (this wan is my line... and fortunately i won back... and it all happened in ee von's house!) and to those who win big... will hav to belanja mamak after gambling session... which always occur for the past few days..

all these routines.... lasted till late night.... it's always 3 am when we either just started our mamak sessions.... or... it goes later ... the DOTA addicts including me... ends up in Warnet, Klang late at night... (in the morning...) which burns another 2 hours from our normal sleeping time.... there will be 2 zombies coming out from my room the next morning.... (mao came tumpang in my house for 2 days ady... + chin sheng yesterday)... always crowded... ehehhe

all in all.... CNY's been a good time for all frens, relatives to enjoy their time when spent together.... so it's not good to stay at home... when this sorta festival arrives.... must be active... cabut lari!! weather's hot summore.. become roasted duck... lagi boh ge tat!

i'm heading back to Uniten today... so no more further blogs tll teh next time i come back...

GONG HEI FATT CHOI~!!

it's 2.30am now... and i can't sleep at the moment!! the enthusiasm to celebrate chinese new year has reached a record high... can't even understand why i can't sleep... i'm suppose to recharge my batteries now, and go to grandma's house tomorrow full of energy... smiling to everyone and of course repeating the same words over and over again...

GONG XI FA CHAI~~!! followed later for a while....
KAM SIAH~! and thoughts full of.. $$$$$

the preparation prior to chinese new year is always typical... last minute shopping with pals... (fortunately i did buy a few shirts instead of returning home empty-handed like fang chin... :p ) massive load of household chores to be settle... which i'm grateful... with the help of my sis.. who took care of the downstairs... while me take the upstairs... after a hectic sessions of cleanig and sweeping + swearing how dirty the place is... we manage to finish the cleaning job b4 noon... after that we went to grandma's place for lunch... it's a day to remember our ancestors as well... so we 'bai bai'... and then.... LUNCH! heh... i was very hungry at that time...(skipped breakfast as well...) abit san fu to sabar for so long... guess that's how i lost weight ...

took a quick nap in the afternoon... b4 we have to start 'pan leng' for our 'tuan yuen fan'....
my family no longer cooks prior to this event... all book tables in restaurants instead.... and this time... it's at Sheraton's Hotel, Subang. Met up with all uncles, aunties and cousins.... and only realised that my closest cousin Ian Gan is heading to melbourne U this sunday! wah lao... damn fast... and everything just happened in a flash.. soon i'm gonna lose another cousin ady! -.-" (his sis is there in Aussie as well so they should be having a good time staying together and going to the same U)
the dishes served are good... though not as good as last year's... :p on the contrary we had our reunion dinner at the same place oso last year... i can't elaborate all bout food at the moment.. it's nice... but just can't make my stomach go empty so fast...

after dinner... we head back to grandma's place... chilled there for a while.. (and built a ang pow camp at the same time)... manage to lauk a few ang pows from relatives... b4 we head back home to prepare the *altar*...
and get to view other household's magnificient fireworks at the same time.. (there's one which lasted quite long..... expensive type... produces miniature *flower* after the first *pop*... this whole thing blasts 36 times.. ) ---> poor sophie seemed to enjoy the fireworks at first..but somehow got on to its nerves in the end... can't even manage to gobble its food... -.-"

so here i am still... after 'bai bai'... and the new year's resolution? study hard first... the rest all later only decide.. :p time to reduce my parents' blood pressuer... since i'm the only child left in college life compared to my sibligns... who have ended their miserable schooling life... :p being the youngest sure has its pros and cons... :p

until then.... enjoy ur new year sessions... and get all the ang pows... don't leave a single relative out... they are more than just frens! they are ur annual atm machine as well! >.<

phew...after a few weeks in Uniten without proper access to internet... plus a few days of hectic moments when it comes to exams..... finally it's all over!! muahahaaha... totally flunked my physics and soon-to-know chemistry... i got a well deserved lecture from both of my parents on our way back home --> KLANG! it's a shame that i've known my mistakes and yet i still can't change it... in order to get less lectures from parents at the same time as well as obtain better results... oh well... thus a new resolution for myself... STUDY!

the atmosphere to welcome the all-too-familiar CNY is like... plain... normal... as in... cleaning up the house wise... -.-" it's all down to the youngest member of the family to take up the respondsibility along with the 2 leaders of the family to clear up the house.... from junks to junks and junks... which sees the backyard of one's house full of JUNKS! i symphatise the ones who's rounding our backyards everyday what with the sudden amount of plastic bags full of 'goodies' for them to take away from every house...

i'm back here... for my midterm break... one week... even though it's short... (but long enough for me to forget everything i've learnt in the 1st half of this 2nd semester.... ) just enjoy it ok everyone... and bless everyone with more red packets than previous years... (including the amount inside as well) and start belanja'ing me lah for a change... :p
